Anger and early disease of the coronary arteries
Anger can trigger myocardie-ischemia and may be an independent risk factor for diseases of the brain-related coronary arteries. A study of EUR 1 055 men have shown that the adjusted 38-year average-risk for early disease of the coronary arteries among men under 55 years of age with a highest score 3 of a general anger at the medical school (expressed or suppressed anger, annoyance and irritability over the ability to cope with stress) was 3.1 (95% CI 11.1-8.6) incl. a recurrence rate of 3.5 premature ill-judgement in the coronary arteries (95% CI 1.1-11.8) and 6.4 for early myocardie-infarction (95% CI 1.8-22.3) compared to men who had a lower score. When you included cases of disease of the coronary arteries of men over 55 years of age, there were no significant context.
